“I can say it is my slogan since 2022 and sometimes people go to the stadium to make life easy. What they want me to do is to entertain them.

So I must do it to put a smile on them, so that the next time when they hear that Moraa is coming to compete, maybe at the Kip Keino Classic, they will come and cheer us,” she explained to SportPesa News.

The Kenyan duo of Nelly Chepchirchir came a distant second in 1:58.26 with Vivian Chebet clocking 1:58.93 to register a third-place position.

Moraa has raced in the 400m race several times this year as she tries to improve her speed ahead of the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games which is scheduled to kick off on Friday, July 26 in France.

The reigning 800m world champion stated that she is contented with her display so far as she looks forward to a successful campaign this year.

“I am happy with the way I have run and I think it is possible to run 1:57 and I have done it. I am going to work on some things and wait for the next race then I will see what happens,” commented the Kenya Police runner.

Up next for Moraa is the Doha Diamond League meeting which is slated for Friday, May 10 at the magnificent Qatar Sports club.
